Chef Crafted Meals
Meals are cooked onsite and served by Freehand Provisions, a Denver catering and pop-up dinner project rooted in seasonal, produce forward cooking.
As Chef David describes: my style is influenced by global flavors but grounded in what's growing locally. I love taking familiar ingredients and making them feel surprising and special.
For this September weekend in Granby, I'll be cooking meals that feel like the best version of eating at a cabin with friends; nourishing, warm, and communal. Expect dishes built around late summer and early fall Colorado produce like bright salads, hearty grains, roasted and charred vegetables, and proteins cooked simply. It’ll be the type of food you’ll be craving after a day spent out in nature.
Meals at Achonee Cabin
Forget restaurant reservations and cooking. Our group has its own private chef for the weekend.
Every meal is prepared from scratch and served in our exclusive cabin, one of the most coveted spots on the property, with an oversized deck overlooking Little Indian Lake and a private gazebo perched right at the pond's edge.
We'll gather, eat well, and linger. These will be the kind of meals where no one's rushing to clear the table.
